The FCESoft™ Report represents a complete set of printed reports from the FCE Soft™ and FCE SoftLink™ software. The report is divided into sections. You may print any portion of the report that is required. Generally, the various sections of the FCE Soft™ report are intended for the different purposes outlined below.
This is usually all that the referring physician or doctors require. The Cover Letter should contain only summary statements about the test results which are particularly germane to the patient’s ability to work. The FCE Form© is a single page report form, which documents the patient’s current work ability. The FCE Form is the single most important part of the FCE report, which reflects the amount of work the patient is capable of doing at the present time. All of the definitions used by The Quest TBS FCE process are contained at the bottom of the FCE Form© for reference by those who are viewing this form.
This is a long detailed section which describes the test protocols, gives the rationale for certain decisions, provides references to the published literatures, lists the raw test data, and provides a summary statement which interprets the test results. Referring physicians are usually not interested in this section because of its length and detail. The Summary of Test Results was designed for Rehabilitation Specialists who are frequently interested in the details of the evaluation, Insurance claims Adjusters who want justification of the charges, and Attorneys who are detail oriented.
This section contains graphic printouts. The user controls the type and number of printouts. This section is almost entirely for legal purposes or to demonstrate to the Rehabilitation Specialist or Insurance Claims Adjuster that a significant amount of testing was performed.
